About the FKB Website

We appreciate those who have been a part of Feeling Kinda Blue and hope this site has been as meaningful to them as it has been to our team. Our goal has always been to promote social connectedness and offer 24-hour support without barriers. Feeling Kinda Blue members have provided peer-to-peer care for over a decade, and we thank them.

Over the past few years, we have seen a decline in the use of some of the website’s interactive features. Therefore, in October 2024 we will adjust our resources in new ways that we believe will provide the best care for our community.

We will make several changes to feelingkindablue.org:

  • Removal of the Latest News page
  • Removal of the Events page
  • Removal of the ability to post on Forum, Blog, or Chat platforms. PLEASE NOTE: We urge users to copy and save any of their personal contributions to these parts of the sites that they'd like to preserve. They will no longer be available starting November 1.
  • We will retain and update the Resources page, Depression Quiz, Anxiety Quiz, What You Can Do page, and About Us – Alex’s Story.

We will provide stipends to local interns from social work college and university programs who will provide in-person counseling to people of all ages. In doing so, we will support affordable behavioral health care and best-in-class field training.

We are still here for you 24/7. Please continue to call us at the Feeling Kinda Blue hotline at 866-728-7983. Other 24/7 interactive resources include the 988 call, chat, and text lines, as well as www.safespace.vibrant.org.

Thank you for connecting and caring for others as a member of Feeling Kinda Blue. Questions may be directed to info@providentstl.org.
