I had plans to do some self-care this week but outside of my nightly meditation for sleep I fell short. Don’t get me wrong that counts and it’s probably one of the very few ways I can fall asleep but I’m trying to make an effort to do a tad more during the day. Sometimes life just eats up the time.
Next week I plan to go for at least 1 run. Ideally 2, but I will consider 1 as a win. Sometimes I am tired or just not feeling it but once I get out there (I like to run at a local park with trails in nature) I LOVE it. I have regretted 0 runs so far in all the years I have been running. I had a near regret a few weeks ago, when my running pouch somehow called 911 on my cell. Luckily for me I was listening to music, so I heard my phone start ringing and thought that is odd. Suprise to me when 911 services answered my call. I apologized and explained the situation. They did not try to track me down in the woods, thankfully. How embarrassing would that be? Anyway that is my plan maybe with a new running pouch.
What about all of you? I am always looking for new self-care habits.
If anyone is looking for a good, guided meditation check out LaurenOstrowskiFenton on Spotify or YouTube. I promise this is not an add for her, she doesn’t pay me or know I exist in any form, but I genuinely find her sleep mediations on Spotify soooo very helpful I share her often and listen nightly.
Take care beautiful people

This week I’m going to try and get plenty of rest and distract myself with videos to try and keep the anxiety away.
@justaspekt That sounds like a solid plan. Are videos the most effective form of distraction for you?
-My goal is to use my “crutch” per say as little as possible this week and to maintain focus every day! Anything that helps you guys to stay focused with a racing mind?
