When depression just sticks with you

AngieUncategorized1 Comment

I’ve dealt with with depression since I was in fifth grade as I got older it got stronger. But dealing with it everyday for weeks and weeks is no fun. It’s like when depression just sticks with you and you don’t want to do anything. No coping skills but just sleeping a lot or sometimes have a hard time sleeping cus you’re constantly having thoughts. The most I’ve done was try to make myself sick, cut, and try to choke myself but that was after both parents pass. Did I wanted to die at one time I sure did after watching my dad die. Right there I wanted to end my life. It’s like no matter how hard I pray my dad wasn’t going get better. I’ve been in and out of hospital dealing with depression and self harm. Sometimes I wish these thoughts would just go away but they don’t.   I hate depression I hate how it just sticks with you.

  1. Angie,
The loss of your parents and dealing with depression are both difficult. I’m glad to see that you went to the hospital. That’s a strong thing to do, for yourself. I’ve also messaged you so that we can connect on a private message.
